For best results, you need to have smooth and untangled hair. A few strands of tangled hair could cause your dye to look messy and uneven.
If you’re looking for a subtler look, we can run the applicator brush through your hair vertically, so that you only dye specific hair strands. If you want to go extreme, we can apply the dye horizontally to cover as much hair as possible.
We know that it is important not to apply the dye to too much hair, as the contrast makes the Ombre. Like most things, Ombre is best in moderation.
Ombre can damage your hair, especially if you have black or dark brown hair. To avoid this we may have to bleach it first. After dying, we recommend letting us treat your hair with nutrient-rich shampoos and conditioners. Depending on the condition of your hair, we may have to apply a hot oil treatment to replace some of the nutrients lost in the dying process.
Ombre kits can be found in various shades at your local drug store, usually retailing for about £10. For a more professional Ombre look, it’s best to consult with us at ombre hair Bolton because we have the experience and tools to provide you with a perfect gradient.
